We
are very proud of our beautiful new nursing home! It was
dedicated January, 2006. Our old facility served us for 50 years. It
was time to move!
When you step into our new home the first thing you see is a
brilliant, stained glass image of Jesus standing with outstretched
hands, famed in brilliant colors, reflecting His glory. So much more
than a stained glass window, it is a symbol of hope and
encouragement to all who enter.
In our new home, we have many private rooms for residents and more
space for them to spread out when visiting family and friends. Our
beautiful living room off the lobby is large enough for small
clusters of people to visit. We have two large porches, a center
courtyard for activities, and a striking Chapel area combined with a
dining room.
"Every single person who goes through
these doors will be treated
like
a chosen child of God: with honor,
with dignity and with love."
Lutheran
Haven is a Medicare/Medicaid certified nursing home with a quality
therapy department. Many of our residents are admitted directly from
area hospitals where they receive physical therapy, occupational and
speech therapy at Lutheran Haven and are discharged to their homes.
We serve all members of the community, regardless of religious
affiliation. Our residents and staff would love to welcome
you to our family.
